Jacksonville.  Where Florida Begins.



Jacksonville has seen many changes since the late 1980s and I think the progress has been fantastic, even though living with the pains of growth can be difficult at times.  I became a licensed real estate
agent in the state of Florida in 1988 when I relocated to Jacksonville and became a resident of the Beauclerc/Mandarin area.  In addition to real estate, I also have 20+ years management experience in the securities brokerage area of financial services.   I grew up on a farm on the prairies of Illinois and before coming to Jacksonville I had been an adult resident of Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Atlanta.

I pride myself in not just being a real estate salesperson, but rather a Realtor® who lives by the strict Realtor® code of ethics.  My intent is not simply to sell you a home or find someone to buy your house.  Any good salesperson can do that. No, my intent is to assist you in finding a home that "you" truly like and guide you through the purchase process, eliminating as many obstacles as possible along the way.  My intent is to assist you in preparing your home for sale and pricing it according to recent "comparable" home sales, thus getting it sold for the best price and in the shortest time possible.

The primary areas in which I concentrate are Intracoastal West, Southside, San Jose, Mandarin, northwest St. Johns County and northern Clay County.  I do enjoy working with relocation also and truly understand the difficulties in relocating, as an individual or an entire family.

I am also a licensed mortgage broker with North Florida Funding, Inc. (NFF), which is very helpful with the up-front process of getting pre-qualified for a loan. Working with NFF is helpful to all parties involved in a purchase transaction. Although I seldom personally place loans for my buyer customers, I ask our company president, Matt Spencer, to assist my customers in that regard, as he is a true expert in that field.

Knowing the loan process at North Florida Funding, I am able to keep very involved in the entire purchase transaction, not just the purchase contract portion.  Open and frequent communication is paramount in all of these efforts and with the technology available to us today, this is really quite simple. E-mail is an extremely efficient means of communication and eliminates wasting time by playing phone tag, except in those times when it´s absolutely a necessity to speak immediately.
